Margrethe and Tyler’s Little Piney Lodge wedding was brimming with boho style, fall color and woodsy wedding vibes. This was our first wedding at this beautiful, outdoor wedding venue in Hermann, MO and we are smitten. From the covered pavilion draped in string lights to the cozy forest setting for an October ceremony, Margrethe and Tyler picked the perfect place to say I do.
These two had such down to earth personalities, and their wedding was a beautiful reflection of the two of them. We loved the macrame dreamcatchers that hung in the reception pavilion and as a ceremony backdrop. Margrethe wore a bohemian style wedding dress, flower crown and went barefoot the entire day. Tyler couldn’t take his eyes off her, and we could’ve snapped over a zillion photos of all of the sweet looks between these two.

More about this Little Piney Lodge wedding…
If Katie and I could go back in time and get married all over again, I have to admit that our wedding would look a lot like this one! Margrethe wanted a bohemian style wedding with a woodsy vibe. With the help of Saving Grace Occasions and Margrethe’s mom, this wedding was everything that Margrethe and Tyler imagined.
Little Piney Lodge lends itself to rustic, laid back weddings. It has an expansive house where Margrethe and her bridesmaids could get ready for the day. After Margrethe and Tyler had a first look by the pond, these two were happy to walk hand in hand around the property for a few more photos.
One of our favorite things about this wedding was the colorful Persian rugs that lined the path to the woodsy ceremony space. It gave this wedding an instant warmth as soon as guests arrived. Margrethe and Tyler had a gorgeous macrame curtain backdrop for their ceremony arbor. The backdrop was made from woven dreamcatchers and was the perfect focal point for this outdoor fall ceremony.
Guests enjoyed cocktails under the stars before getting down to Sean Canan’s band, Falling Fences with Molly Healy. Thanks to Grace with Saving Grace Occasions and to John and Julie, who are incredible people and the owners of Little Piney!
