Megan and Mike’s beautiful Kansas barn wedding was held at the Schwinn Produce Farm. With sunflower fields and pumpkin gardens, this rustic wedding venue is perfect for an outdoor fall wedding. We couldn’t get enough of how happy Megan and Mike were throughout the day. Megan’s daughter Breanna played a big role in the day. She was the maid of honor, and was so excited to celebrate with everyone!

The perfect day for a fall wedding in the Midwest is sometimes hard to figure out. You want beautiful fall colors, but not freezing temperatures! You cross your fingers for no rain, or in this area, even snow! Megan and Mike lucked out with a perfect September day for their wedding at Schwinn Barn. We have photographed several rustic Schwinn Barn weddings, and always love being back. Megan prepared for the day in the bridal cottage, and sent over the sweetest notes and gifts to Mike who was in the barn getting ready.
The outdoor ceremony was held in the woodsy grove behind the bridal cottage. This space feels almost magical as the bride and groom say their vows under a canopy of trees! After the ceremony, the wedding party took a ceremonious tractor ride down country roads to a beautiful overlook.
After cocktails, guests were invited into the barn for dinner and dancing. The BBQ wedding dinner, catered by Crazy Good Eats, was so good! The cornfield behind the barn provided some great entertainment for the kids. Megan and Mike kicked off the dancing with their first dance under the cafe lights. As the evening progressed, people gathered around a bonfire outside. Kids toasted marshmallows under the beautiful blue light and made s’mores. At the end of the night, guests did a sendoff for Megan and Mike through a sea of sparklers. At the end of the sparkler line, Megan’s face lit up. Mike had surprised her with a Rolls Royce getaway car!
