Sydney and Roark’s Wildcliff wedding in this past fall was beautiful. We’ve photographed engagement sessions here before, but this was our first time documenting a wedding. Needless to say, it was a real dream! With a teal blue quarry backdrop, this lakeside venue in Blackwater, MO boasts a truly unique outdoor wedding ceremony space that is beyond picturesque.

Full Weekend Rental With Every Wedding
One of our favorite things about this venue is that when you book Wildcliff, you have access to the space for the entire weekend! You can arrive early, spend time setting up and really enjoy the place without feeling crazy rushed.
The Wedding Day
There is a spacious bridal suite on site with tons of natural light for getting ready. As for the ceremony, the outdoor ceremony location is set on the quarry and guests will be treated to stunning views of the blue water and the towering bluffs.
Reception
Although there isn’t a reception space at Wildcliff, all venue reservations include rental of the super chic “Hollow” in the historic town of Blackwater. This industrial brick space has an open floor layout and enough space to seat 225 guests. The Hollow is just a six minute drive from Wildcliff, so your wedding day can run seamlessly without guests having to navigate traffic for hours!
