We have been photographing so many rustic farm weddings at Blue Bell Farm lately, it’s starting to feel like a second home! This country venue was the perfect match for Heidi and Jeff, as Heidi grew up on a farm, and Jeff is an avid outdoorsman. Heidi incorporated tons of charming country details into the day. Our favorites were the antler racks as centerpieces, rustic wooden signs, and wildflowers on every table.
Here are some of our favorite photos from the ceremony and portrait session on the wedding day… we’ll share another blog post with the “best of” reception pictures soon!
More about this rustic farm wedding in the country:
There were so many unique country wedding decor ideas at this wedding. Colorful shotgun shells were filled with simple wildflowers and feathers to create unique boutonnieres! Heidi wore a belt with her wedding dress that had polka dot guinea fowl feathers in it!
We loved the inclusion of ancestry in this wedding. Vintage photographs of family members were hung around the reception barn. Framed photos of grandparents were also placed on either side of them during the ceremony. I think one of our favorite photos from the day happened during family portraits. Heidi is holding a framed photo of her grandpa in one arm, and has her other arm around her granny.
We had a wonderful time with Heidi and Jeff and hope they cherish these photos for years to come!
