This was our first Piper Palm House wedding, and we lucked out with a gorgeous spring day! Rebecca and Luke hosted their romantic modern ceremony at this super cool indoor venue in Tower Grove Park. A reception followed at the A Casa restaurant nearby.
This was our second wedding with Rebecca’s family. We photographed her sister’s rustic wedding in Hermann, MO two years ago and had a blast. It’s always such an incredible compliment when we are hired for multiple weddings within one family. :)

More about this Piper Palm House wedding:
Rebecca and Luke booked us way back in 2019. Through all of the curveballs 2020 had, these two navigated the changes seamlessly. Thanks to their planner, Ashley with AJ Coordinates for all of her guidance throughout the process as well! After doing hair and makeup at the Chase Park Plaza, Rebecca and her bridesmaids headed over to Forest Park for the first look. Luke had one of the biggest smiles when seeing Rebecca for the first time on the wedding day. These kinds of documentary moments are why we love our jobs.
After a few wedding party pictures, we all headed to the Piper Palm House for the wedding ceremony in Tower Grove Park. Despite walking past this historic brick building several times, this was our first time inside of this ahhhmazing venue. Flooded with light from the greenhouse style roof and cathedral windows, massive green palm plants gracefully arch over the ceremony space. This is one of the indoor venues that feels like it’s outdoors. A perfect compromise with Mother Nature if you want to play it safe with a weather while still getting all the natural light vibes.
After the wedding ceremony, everyone headed to the A Casa venue nearby for dinner and a night of dancing. This upscale urban venue is located just south of Tower Grove park and had the perfect space for an intimate wedding reception. We loved their outdoor patio with strings of cafe lights overhead! After an absolutely delicious meal (we can attest to!) by the Social Affair, everyone got on the dance floor to celebrate a perfect day.
Thanks to Rebecca and Luke for trusting me to document the memories of their south St. Louis wedding!
