Kayla and Josh had a beautiful Les Bourgeois Bistro wedding in May! This is one of our favorite venues in Mid-Missouri, and the Bistro restaurant has so much bright, natural light for photos. These two prepared for the day at the winery and then had a lovely ceremony with many Persian traditions as Josh had Iranian heritage. We loved the sprinkling of sugar and the tasting of honey during the ceremony!

More about Kayla and Josh’s Les Bourgeois Bistro wedding:
While we have photographed several weddings at this Rocheport winery wedding venue, this was our first with a reception in the Bistro! The light was a photographer’s dream, especially for things like the first dance and the toasts. One of my favorite things about Kayla and Josh’s wedding was the inclusion of traditions on both the bride and groom’s side. Kayla is from Pittsburgh, and we were so happy to see the classic (and delicious) “Pittsburgh Cookie Table” set up at the reception. Josh’s heritage is Iranian, and many unique customs were included in their ceremony. Having things like rock candy, walnuts and coffee as part of the ceremony was so refreshing!
